   Excellent care for peri-menopause, menopause, and overall health and well being. I’ve been a patient for apx. one year. Dr. Call is extremely knowledgeable. The HZ staff is super friendly and follow-up quickly when I have questions or needs. I highly recommend the Hormone Zone!

   The staff was very friendly and helpful but the treatment was not worth the investment. I had a P-shot and acoustic wave therapy with ZERO results.

   I deeply regret having to give such a poor review as it is very unlike me to do so. Given that I was referred to this practice, I had such high hopes they could help with some nearly debitating symptoms I have been having. My initial visit with Dr. Call to get blood drawn and take the metabolic test was fine. He's a lovely and empathetic person; however, my labs got submitted to LabCorp under the wrong gender (the lab showed me how they got submitted wrong), so all my references ranges were inaccurate. I called the Hormone Zone to see if it could be changed and they said not to worry about it. They didn't even call LabCorp to ask. I think it is vitally important for patients to have accurate information, so I ended up calling the lab myself and they changed it really quickly. Even though I said I had been referred to Dr. Robinson when I made my appointment, I was put with Dr. Dagstani. I didn't refuse becasue the patient coordinator told me he was good for women my age. I could not have been more disappointed. When I arrived for our visit, he asked me nothing about what brought me there or what my symptoms were; he just dove right into the lab reports. I'm 45 years old, but took my mother with me because she has interest in the subject and is a nurse. We were both so baffled by and underwhelmed with Dr. Dagstani's approach. It was impersonal and his advice seemed incomplete because he didn't ask me about my situation, my symptoms or how they began. I volunteered a little more information, but it felt more like I had to lead the conversation rather than him being a thorough advocate. I left not feeling comfortable with his advice except needing more testosterone, which was clear from the lab report (after I got LabCorp to fix the gender). As for the rest of my symptoms or the cause, I feel less sure I am on the right track than when I arrived. Also, before I left the visit, they tried to give me an IV therapy. The tech missed the vein in my arm and began injecting it outside my vein (it didn't feel good). Then he tried my hand and missed that vein twice. I finally had to ask him to just please stop. I was also supposed to have a prescription called into the pharmacy that day (I had given the doctor my preferred pharmacy). That didn't happen so I had to call back the next day to remind them. I also had to remind them to send me the link they promised to send me the day before for supplements because they were out of them in the office. That link has still never arrived. These visits are costly and I felt shepherded through like "just another lab report." I'm left feeling totally disappointed and like I still need a second opinion by someone who cares to listen. Also, the follow through was not good. As such, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
